Surround Care FAQQ: Would care be available during non-school days (spring break, Christmas break, snow days) A: Yes. Daycare will be available during spring break, Christmas break and planned school days off. Snow days (has not been decided yet).
Q: How flexible is it? Could a parent take advantage of it for just
a few hours a week?
A: This will be a flexible program. We ask that you put in a weekly schedule
the Wednesday before the following care week so we can plan staff
accordingly.
Q: What will be the number of adults to kids? A: We are offering the daycare program to 3 year olds thru 6 year olds (kindergarten). Our ratio is determined by the youngest child there. 3 year olds ~ 1 to 10, 4 year olds ~ 1 to 12, kindergarten ~ 1 to 18. There will most likely need to be an assistant during the day.
Q: Will it be offered during the summer?
A: At this point, not yet. If there is a great need for care in the summer,
we will consider it.
