ONLINE ENROLLMENT IS COMING SOON!

We have experienced some difficulties with the online enrollment process and apologize for the inconvenience. Please continue to check the website daily.   We encourage all current families to enroll online so we have adequate time to address our staffing needs. A link for online enrollment will be available through the school website at www.grandhavenchristian.org. Each family will have an account within our new RenWeb system. If you would like to meet with a board member to enroll, you may do so on Tuesday, February 21 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Enrollment deadline for all current families is Friday, March 30.

TUITION ADJUSTMENTS

If you are interested in seeing if you qualify for a tuition adjustment for the 2012/2013 school year, FACTS forms can be completed on line at www.factstuitionaid.com. Paper copies are also available in the school office. The deadline for completing the FACTS application form is February 29.

THANKS FOR THE BOOK DONATIONS!

The first graders will be busy this week pricing books and getting them organized to sell.   On Monday, February 6, the bookstore will be opened!   The Y5-2nd grade classes will be invited during the day to come and shop.  After school, the store will be open to everyone.   Books are priced 25¢-$1.00, (the first graders priced them, but generally the chapter books are 50 ¢, the picture books 25 ¢, and the large hardcover are $1.00).  The first graders will use the money raised to purchase items for LOVE INC and for a water filter.

MOMS IN TOUCH

Moms in Touch (MIT) meets each Friday at 8:00 a.m. in Mrs. King’s classroom (in middle school) during the school year to pray for our kids, teachers and families.  All parents are invited to join the group to pray this Friday.  If you have a prayer request please send an email to Jan Malek @ pjmalek@earthlink.net. Requests can also be left in the MIT boxes in the Office, Teachers Lounge or Mrs. King’s room.

REMINDER TO PARENTS

The first bell rings at 8:00 a.m. for the students to come in.  The tardy bell rings at 8:05 a.m., which means your student(s) should be in the classroom, ready to work at that time.  Your child misses important instructions and disrupts the whole class when they come in late.  Please make it your goal to be on time.  If your child is late, be sure to stop by the office and sign them in.

1. Wash Hands Frequently
2. Encourage Everyone to Cover Their Mouths When They Cough With Tissues
3. Educate Children on how Viruses are Passed from One Person to Another
