"Walk about Zion, go around her, count her towers, consider her ramparts, view her citadels, that you may tell of them to the next generation.  For this God is our God forever and ever, he will be our guide even to the end."  -Psalm 48:12-14

To put this verse in a modern, educational setting, say this:  Walk around Grand Haven Christian School.  See her teachers teaching from a Christian perspective; see her students learning, praying, serving, and growing; see her board leading and encouraging; see all involved working together to create a Christ-honoring school where students are learning to become servants of Christ, that you may tell the next generation.  For this God is our God for all time.  He will be our guide to the end.

-Rick Geertsma, Principal

FACTS ABOUT FACTS

If you would like to be considered for a tuition adjustment for the 2010-2011 school year, please apply using the FACTS form, which is available in the office. You can also apply on-line at www.factstuitionaid.com. FACTS will analyze your financial information and passes this analysis to the GHCS Finance Committee. The committee uses this info to determine whether or not a family is eligible for a tuition adjustment, and the amount of the adjustment if eligible.  Deadline for completion for current GHCS families is March 5.  Please call Mr. Geertsma at 842-5420 if you have questions.

As parents and teachers, friends and classmates, let's remember these members of our GHCS family during our personal or family devotions during the coming week.

THINKING ABOUT SPRING HOUSECLEANING?

LET US HELP YOU GET RID OF YOUR UNWANTED METAL:  First Christian Reformed Church volunteers collect and recycle over 600 pounds of metal each week through their Metal Recycle Ministry that supports youth and other church programs.  Examples include:  exercise equipment, old grills, electrical cords and Christmas tree lights, motors, pumps, aluminum screens and siding, metal pipes, brass and copper parts, cans, broken appliances, and more!  If it’s metal we can take it!  And, we will pick it all up!  Call 1st CRC at 842-6370 for pick up or drop off information.  Thank you for supporting environmental stewardship.
